To keep your shipment safe and compliant with UK and Nigerian customs law, some items cannot be shipped, while others require special handling or declaration before you book.

Shipments found to contain prohibited items will be refused, returned, or reported to the relevant authorities without prior notice. You bear full legal and financial responsibility for any prohibited items shipped. By finalising a booking, you confirm your shipment contains none of the items listed on this page.
Prohibited — All Services
Never accepted on air or sea freight

- ✕Hazardous chemicals, flammable materials, or toxic substances
- ✕Live animals, perishables, or plants
- ✕Drugs or controlled substances
- ✕Counterfeit or pirated goods
- ✕Pornographic or obscene material
- ✕Ivory, rhino horn, and products from endangered species
Prohibited — Air Freight
Not permitted on standard air cargo
- ✕Explosives and flammable liquids/solids
- ✕Gases under pressure (aerosols, camping gas)
- ✕Corrosives and oxidising substances
- ✕Lithium batteries and power banks (loose/spare)
- ✕Nail polish, perfumes, and aftershave
- ✕Paints, varnishes, and solvents
- ✕Matches, lighters, and flares
- ✕Magnetised materials
Restricted — Air Freight
Accepted with conditions; declare at booking

Accepted and routed via our specialist battery-handling carrier. Must be declared at booking.

Batteries & Electronics
Smart-routing, not a hard block
Devices containing lithium batteries (phones, laptops, tablets, and other electronics) are accepted on both air and sea freight. Loose or spare lithium batteries and power banks are prohibited on air freight but may be accepted via sea freight with prior approval.
Simply declare that your shipment contains batteries/electronics at booking. We'll route it through our specialist battery-handling carrier for safe, compliant transport. Your booking continues as normal.
