Everything you need to know about using NaijaCargo Express — whether you're shipping cargo or managing the platform. Choose your guide below.

Customer Guide

How to ship cargo from the UK to Nigeria, track your shipments, and manage your account.

1. Book Air Freight (2–5 day delivery)

Air freight is the fastest way to ship smaller parcels and urgent items to Nigeria.

1

Start a booking

Go to Book Air Freight and choose your service (Door-to-Door or Depot Collection).

2

Enter parcel details

Enter the actual weight and dimensions (L×W×H in cm). The system automatically calculates volumetric (chargeable) weight — the higher of actual or volumetric weight is used for pricing.

3

Add sender & receiver details

Fill in the UK sender and Nigerian receiver information. If you're logged in, your saved details pre-fill automatically.

4

Declare cargo value & transit cover

Enter the replacement value of your goods. You can select enhanced transit cover or enter your own insurance policy number if you have one.

5

Accept terms & submit

Review the price summary, accept the Terms & Conditions, and submit. You'll receive a booking reference (e.g. NC-1234567X) and a confirmation email.

After submitting, your booking starts as "Pending". An admin reviews it and sends you a payment link.

2. Book Sea Freight (4–7 week delivery)

Sea freight is the cost-effective option for larger items — barrels, Ghana-must-go bags, boxes, TVs, and full containers.

1

Start a booking

Go to Book Sea Freight and select your shipment type (barrel, box, bag, TV, per-kg, or full container).

2

Select destination state

Pricing varies by Nigerian state. Lagos has the lowest rates; other states add a delivery surcharge.

3

Add receiver address

Sea freight door-to-door requires a full Nigerian delivery address.

4

Review & submit

You'll get a booking reference (e.g. NCE-SEA-2026-XXXXX) and an email with the next steps.

Sea freight sailing takes 4–6 weeks; door-to-door is 5–7 weeks including customs clearance and last-mile delivery.

3. Shop & Ship (We buy for you)

Don't have a UK address? We can purchase items from Amazon, eBay, and other UK retailers on your behalf and ship them to Nigeria.

1

Add product URLs

Paste the product link on the Shop & Ship page. We auto-fetch the title, image, and price.

2

Choose shipping mode

Select air (fast) or sea (economical) for the Nigeria leg.

3

Pay for products + freight

Your total includes the product cost, a sourcing fee, and the freight cost. Pay via the link emailed to you.

4

We purchase & ship

Once paid, we order the items, receive them at our UK depot, weigh them, and ship to your Nigerian address.

4. Track Your Shipment

Track any booking in real time using your booking reference.

1

Open tracking

Go to Track Shipment.

2

Enter your reference

Type your booking reference (e.g. NC-1234567X or NCE-SEA-2026-XXXXX).

3

View live status

See the current status, timeline, sender/receiver details, and payment information.

You can also share a direct tracking link with your receiver using ?ref=YOUR_REFERENCE in the URL.

5. Making Payments

Once an admin confirms your booking, you'll receive a payment email with options.

  • Square payment link — pay by card online (fastest, instant confirmation).
  • Bank transfer — bank details are included in your payment email.
  • Additional payment requests — if customs duty or a surcharge is due, you'll receive a separate payment link for that specific amount.

Your booking status updates to "Confirmed" once payment is received and logged by our team.

6. Refer & Earn £5 Credit

Earn £5 credit for every friend who completes a booking using your referral link.
